Who We Are

The Federal Improvement Team (FIT) is an entirely volunteer run organization designed to help bring hard working Federal Employees together and solve the issues we find ourselves battling across the Federal Government.

What We Do

The FIT was created by change agents across the government, frustrated with the misconception that just because something must be done by the federal government, that the quality of that activity had to suffer. The phrase "good  enough for the government" was in the past a badge of honor for a product, yet today that meaning is lost. The FIT exists to share best practices, collaborate openly surrounding our efforts to improve the federal government, and serve our agencies.  

Over time, the FIT has become the recognized certification authority across the federal government in the standards of excellence, project/program management, and provides trans-governmental training through our partnership with RACE to meet the government's needs at the lowest possible cost.
